MAPS Home Study Material

Question: I purchased the MAPS System at the launch. Will I receive a MAPS Home Study Course as well? The reason I ask is because anytime I listen in on the training videos here online it takes about 2 to 3 hours just to listen to one step in the training because the videos has to buff or stream down every 5 minutes before it starts to play again. Honestly, it is driving me crazy! I click on a training video and 10 to 15 minutes in it starts buffing, play for a few minutes then start buffing again all throughout the training. Its not my internet connection, I'm on the 4G network and have no issues viewing other online videos. I was so excited about the training but now I'll just wait on the home study materials to come in the mail. Please advise.

I'm having the exact same problem; definitely not due to slow internet for me either. Hope the Home Study Course comes soon.

Ditto on the videos. I think their video server needs an upgrade and probably a bigger pipe (more bandwidth) attached. NOTE: Would love transcripts to follow along, take notes, highlight etc.

We use Amazon S3 for our hosting which is a very powerful server - however its possible it could be affected during high traffic times. Have you have any luck trying to view videos at different times of day?

MAPS-To-Go is in the works and should be up very soon, which will allow you to download all of the MAPS videos to your computer. All videos are in MP4 and M4V formats so are compatible with most mobile viewing devices.

The Home Study DVD version of the course is in the works but may not be available until the new year. Stay tuned for announcements as to when that will become available.

Yes I've tried different times. It's very frustrating viewing the training
videos this way. The training is wonderful for the first 15 minutes or so,
after that the buffing start and stop every so often. Drive me crazy,
especially after I have set time aside and or cancelled other engagements to
    learn this strategy.

The MAPS videos are now available for download! We are building the MAPS-To-Go download page, but you can download each individual video to your personal computer by clicking the title above the video (for example, clicl "MAPS A.1 - Slides 1-12" above the first video in section A to download that video) The videos are in M4V format, which will play on an iTunes player and many other media players, including many mobile devices.

The videos are somewhat large, averaging about 350mb a piece. As MAPS-To-Go is rolled out we will have lower resolution/smaller size videos available as well as audio versions of the course on MP3.

    Tatiana,

I just called my WIFI Internet provider and upgraded from my basic residential package to the Power User pkg. It costs about 20 bucks/mo more but the service is lightning quick and I have no problems whatsoever watching the videos now.

What a pleasure. Im sure this is the same problem the others are having as well. They probably have a basic pkg which was great for residential use a year or two ago and watching some short You Tube videos, but for a lengthy training video, etc the upgraded service is the fix! Cant wait to get to the info now!!!!
